I just want to create some CC for Sims 4 but i get Problems with every step of working with sims 4 Studio first the installer don't work, then the program don't want to find my blender instalation and now is blender too NEW for S4Studio? I mean why??? when i can do it with 2.70 i should be able to work with 2.77 (cause the math Freak in me says that 2.77 is a Little bit newer than 2.70) i will NOT downgrade blender cause i Need 2.76 or newer to Keep working on my Fallout 4 Mod and i don't want unnecesary files on my PC, so how can i fix this STUPID PROBLEM, that makes no sence???

U can have as many Blender versions installed as u want. I have steam one (that updates automatically), 2.74 because new versions had material glitches, and now 2.70. Just install them in different directiories. And in s4s setting set the path to 2.70's folder cause it automatically chooses program files dir.

Hi snownight, welcome to Studio forums. This problem does actually make sense and if you read a little bit around the forum about it, you will understand why Studio does things the way it does. Cupofredtea has given excellent advice...if you want to use Sims 4 Studio in conjunction with a version of Blender other than 2.70 I suggest you follow it.

A while ago I suggested adding in support for later versions, but I wasn't the first and you won't be the last. You just need to be patient. For the moment, you can install Blender 2.70 in another location as has been suggested and just change S4S to read it from there.

We have tried support for later versions, there were too many incompatibilities between them and s4s for it work properly.
