Hi, I'm making a pair of earrings. I made the mesh myself in blender, and also drew a texture. Everything looks fine in blender, the UV map works. However, when I import mesh, an odd thing occurs. The skin texture that the SIM model uses, is also the texture of the earrings. (This is pretty difficult to explain so I'm providing blend. and s4s package files.) Note that I do not have any texture imported into Sims 4 Studio! If I am to import the correct texture, nothing happens. When I change to a different LOD, the original earrings appear, but WITH the texture that I imported. I should also note that this is CAS: Create 3d mesh. I am driving myself crazy trying to fix this, please help me. It would be very appreciated! Your earring are not located correctly on the uv map - Visit this page and download the template to place your earring's uv map in the correct spot. Also, don't forget to create a uv_1 and properly unwrap it so your earrings will work with sliders.

Could you tell me more about sliders? I don't recall ever hearing such a thing. Thank you by the way!

Hi ghostytea, there is a start to finish accessories tutorial that shows how to create an earring for Sims 4. It goes over each step for making your own new earring mesh and getting it into the game. Since you already have a mesh you can skip over the mesh making part and read the rest to get a good idea of the steps you will need to make a working earring accessory. The sliders are what players use to customize their Sim in CAS.
