Hi guys! This is my first recolor and I'm almost done, but there's a minor issue that I'd like to resolve: In my game, the recolor seems to have the buttons and shirt pocket showing (which I don't want) Whereas in Sims4Studio, they don't show at all (which I do want as the final product in the game) What I did originally: I created a recolor for the in-game V-neck shirt and copied and pasted my work onto a second layer of another recolor of the GTW button-up shirt. Again, it looks great on S4S, but in the game, the buttons and shirt pocket show through from the original GTW shirt. Much help is appreciated! Thanks!

hi! what you're looking for is the bump map. you need to head over to the warehouse and look for an img that is grey with details for the shirt. export it and use a brush in Photoshop with the same color of the background to paint over the details you no longer want. also in the alpha channel. if you can't find the bump map on the warehouse then you need to use the 3dclone option when cloning the original item.

inabadromance thank you for replying back! EDIT/UPDATE: I found the bump map of the shirt by cloning the mesh (and I saved it as bumpmaptest, etc.). I removed the pocket and some of the unwanted buttons in both the alpha and RGB channels, and saved it. Now, do I 'add' a type in my final project's warehouse and import the newly saved bumpmap? Or how do I go around doing this after editing the bumpmap? Thanks again!

You need to save the bumpmap as thenameyouchose.dds in DXT5 version (it's one of the options when the nvidia pops up, because it has alpha) and you import it the same way you export it. There's a green "import" button just above the save package button.

I see, so I import it in the copied file of the original sleeved shirt, NOT the final product's package (the one with the Union Jack print), right? Now, will this affect the other original sleeved shirts (obviously the one I chose, not just any) in the game? Sorry for all these questions, but I'm thankful for your patience and help!
EDIT: Success! Thanks for helping!
