Hi! I don't understand... why are you doing it this way instead of just choosing 3d clone and just adding new swatch after watch... there's no need to do it on "packs". As for the footprint, i believe your best choice would be to make them with the teleport statue . Fixing the footprint won't fix the fact that sims will get reset if the the object gets placed near them. This is due to the fact that is has slots on it. When an object has slots, it will make the sim reset.

this is what I was told by orangemittens back in the auto foot print tutorial ( Link above to that conversation then) at the time Unless I miss understood then what om meant about mesh, and these pianos go to two pose sets a child and adult couple's sets both posed around the piano itself.

I just read the conversation and i believe you misunderstood what she suggested. She advised you to use selective clone just to grab all the original textures of the piano at once AND include the footprint source. "Studio's recolors do not include resources that aren't changed in a recolor". If you choose "stand alone recolor", the footprint string won't be on the package. If you choose "3d mesh", footprint will be included but only one swatch of all the textures will be on the package. If you choose "selective clone", you can decide what to include in your package. In this case what orange shared you. There's no need to do it in sets of x amount of swatches. Just clone with "selective clone" just like she suggested. Once you clone it, do all the swatches you want. Head over to the warehouse, and replace the footprint with this tutorial. Again, for this particular object i really doubt fixing the footprint will work for what i mentioned earlier.

ok I feel dumber at the moment Not cause of what you said it cause I didn't catch that before now and see I'm just picking this project back up since a few month ago. *sighs* I do ty for that for that explanation and I've never heard of this tutorial one so I'm not familer to this decalfootprint till now inabadromance that you mentioned it to me ~.~: only cause what I thought OM meant was I should use the Selective as the pack to work with initially work with I did how ever did find other tutorial on that part of the Selective clone section and read them I think I get it now I use the parts I need specifically from that one, but the mod you mentioned earlier I'll have try it I've never used a mod like that before so depending if it will work on my Sims's pose idk and how it should change. then I would have do a link back to in my studio redirection other to use this mod in my studio to MTS so they can use the pose to get it work for them if I did this.

Yeap. you'll have to link that mod. Every pose nowadays is using that mod. At least until EA decides it's prudent to add moveobjects for sims... this is the easiest way to do it. not only easier for us pose creators, but for the one using it. For example, with floor poses. Thanks to this mod, you can move up the statue with 9 and teleport the sim exactly where you want it to be, a bed maybe. So that same pose works for several purposes. not only the floor. I think it's an amazing mod overall.
