ok, little update. I exported the mesh, didnt modify it at all, then imported that same mesh back to the package, and the same problem with the sleeves appeared. I wanted to see where the problem started so tested it and in every step from the turorial but the lighting problem didnt go away. So I figured "ok, i'll just export it and import it back again without editing anything" and the issue was still there! could it be something about the file itself?

QUESTION! When I go to " Edit tags" all I get are these options instead of "situation" like you said to remove in the tutorial: Occult: Occult_Alien Occult: Occult_Human OutfitCategoory: OutfitCategory_Bathing There is nothing called situation, please help!

Since this tutorial was written Studio was updated to make it easier to change tags. The tags are in the Categories tab under Outfit Type in the Studio section now.

I'm quite new to blender, when I try to select the edge, it only select half, when I try to add the back half, the edge on the side would also be selected together, I'm really confused, couldn't deselect these two side lines, can someone help please? Thanks a lot!

Hi Med, welcome to Studio forums. If I'm understanding you correctly you're trying to select just the bottom row of vertices on the skirt. One easy way to do this is to first hide any part of the model that is getting in the way of seeing what you're doing (you have already removed the legs so you can skip this step) To do this close the little eye that is on the same line as the part you want to hide: Once you've done that switch to Wireframe instead of Texture: This will make the back vertices selectable as well as the front vertices. Click 1 on your keyboard number pad to get a straight head on view of the garment. Tip the view a little bit if necessary so that all the bottom row vertices line up and then box select them: Once they're selected then switch back to texture and continue working:

Just wondering if you figured out how to fix the mesh sticking to the legs? I couldn't find it in your posts so thought I'd just ask here.

Hi simplyslytherin, welcome to Studio forums. I'm not sure what you mean by mesh sticking to the legs...could you explain that a little more?

I used Joy 2.5.1.9 to make an override mesh replacer for the Bath Towel in the Spa Pack, to get rid of the super weird cap it has on the bottom (cuts off the legs), but the cap is still there in-game. The Blender pic looks right, and the Studio pic looks right. What could be wrong? I replaced all lods. Also, when I re-capped it in Blender, it had no destination (little circle from the OP pic) to put the UVs in. I just improvised and shrunk them to fit where I thought it might go (the usual place, or close to it). In this case, I don't really think the cap will matter, though (too high up to see it). Override means replace, right? Like, not standalone? My towel's still lame.

Can you post some pics that illustrate what the problem is along with your .blend and the .package? I'm not certain what you mean when you describe the problem.

Here's the Towel in Blender: Here's the Towel in Studio: Here's the Towel normally: I see the normal version in-game. Used a standalone first, but that didn't give the right results (obviously), so I tried an override. Same results. edit: Do you think the tags had something to do with it? I changed the tags so you could wear the towel anytime.

Standalone is for recolors not for mesh changes. This looks like a project best done as an override since you're fixing an EA mesh that needs fixed rather than making a new mesh. If you post your .package and your .blend I can take a look at it. It's difficult to know what's going on without those.
