Hi, back with another question! :D I am making my first attempt at editing an EA hair mesh. So far it's not working out, haha. I want to "cut" the hair to make the mesh shorter, but it doesn't seem to want to cut. I've tried Edit Mode and Sculpt Mode; in Edit Mode, I delete the vertices, but the texture (I assume?) is staying the same even after the vertices have been deleted. When I try Sculpt Mode, it doesn't budge, either. Here is a pic of what's left in Edit Mode: I also noticed that when I look at the mesh with weights shown, the bottom part of the hair that's left behind is all gray. Does that mean it isn't part of the mesh at all? Any help is appreciated. Thanks so much!

Hey Jessimadoo, The reason you're seeing the ends grey, despite removing the vertices is because you have all the meshes groups visible at once.
There are 3 meshes groups per hair, one is the standalone (hat-less) hair and the other 2 are hat chops.
You'll need to hide the other two mesh groups that you aren't actively working on by toggling the eyeball icon, or right clicking the mesh and selecting "toggle visibility."
Tip: You can't hide the group you have actively selected, so it's helpful to select the mesh you're working on, then hiding the others, and then began working. And when you're ready to work on the other mesh groups, simply un-hide that group, select it, then hide the previous mesh group you just finished, so on.

What's the fastest way to delete the vertices? I used the knife tool and it comes out to chopping off a section of the hair but not all of it.

coolkittykat make sure that the view is in front mode (the bottom panel should say'view'- click on that and click 'front'). Then, go to edit mode and look at the side panel and you should see the UV map. Use the 'b' key and drag the mouse to select the part that you want to delete. Then, make sure your mouse is hovering over the sim (if it's still hovered over the UV map it doesn't delete). Press the'x' key and click delete.
