Hi there! I have recently tried to change a simple dress to a top and skirt but have come across a problem. I followed a tutorial and thought i'd done it right but i have messed something up :/ I should probably explain that this is my first attempt at editing a mesh other than fiddling around and experimenting so i am not that great at blender. Anyway, all i did was delete a couple of faces to create the top and skirt, inserted the nude top etc. But when i go to edit the texture and take the part away that overlaps the skin, it also takes part of the skirt away. I'll upload a picture to help explain as i honestly have no idea what has happened. Maybe it has something to do with the uv mapping? Thankyou!

Could you post your package file? So someone can look into it.

You can't use your browser links for dropbox files, you'll need to hit the "share" button, and select "can view" from the dropbox list, and "Create link" and share that one.

Hi taraalex! I opened up your .blend and the first thing I saw a lot of overlapping on your uv-0. As a rule, you don't want that to happen. See the parts where the orange is slightly darker? That means you have one part overlapping the other. Ideally, you want your whole uv map to look like the lighter orange. Does that make sense?
