First, I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if this is a bug. If it's a bug I apologize for posting here but I didn't want to add to the bug thread for no reason. So I recolored a hair and when I choose another hair in CAS that is using the same color it changes either to EA's black or platinum blond. I'm not quite sure what's going on or if I missed something? I've been changing the SecondaryDisplayIndex, all the recolors I've made are using the same numbers for the SecondaryDisplayIndex so I'm not sure what's quite happening here. Here's a GIF to explain because I'm bad at words. If you need it here is my recolor. And here is the original mesh. And all the recolors use 5005-5120 for the SecondaryDisplayIndex.

Hi, I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Do you mean that after you chose your C hair then chose a base game hair it changed to a particular colour?

I'm saying that every hair I choose is recolored with the same colors, and when I choose this one hair, the last one in that gif, it's defaulting back to the base game platinum blond. It's like the game doesn't recognize that, that hair has the same colors as the one I had selected before it.

Hmm, is it stuck like that or does it just go like that by default? If you wanted to change the hair to pink, let's say, are you able to do it?
If it's a problem, you may have to ask the staff such as orangemittens as I am not familiar with bugs s:

I've had a few hairs like this. Where the hair you have selected is blonde, you select another hair and it changes to brown, or some other color?
You could ask the creator, It could have something to do with the initial creation in S4S, maybe they didn't select all the colors when cloning the original hair, and later added swatches using the the hair hex codes as well as with the textures. I wouldn't call it a "glitch" though.
