hello!! i recently attempted to convert a ts2 chair and barstool to ts4 by following a very handy tutorial posted here. it turned out alright, but the texture is somewhat... flat. i recently found out about "bakes" and thought that would definitely be the perfect solution. i followed this tutorial over here: www.kitkatssimporium.com/create-a-bake-in-blender, but the result was strange... later i found out that ts2 conversion bakes end up looking strange, and thus need to be remapped? i have no idea what that entails, and i was just wondering if there are any tutorials to help with this specific problem?

hi! there's some things that can help you out on the tutorial index for buymode. Particularly these ones: How mapping works & how to map & bake a cube Part 1 Part 2Since this is not a specifically for sims 4 only, but a basic feature that every modeler does.. you can also look for tutorials on youtube on how to map any item. it will vary depending on the complexity of the object. here's one video that has the basics too.
