Hi, I have an issue when i update the texture for this shirt i am trying to do. I get something like this (sorry for the size) And thats the result i get whatever I do on the texture. I did not change the file format, as i did not do "Save as" and did "Save" . I am using the latest beta version. Is it a glitch in S4studio or is it me doing something wrong ? Thank you ! PS: Excuse me if this is the wrong topic for this, I am new on this forum... (:

Hi! This is the right place to post this issues. Can you please upload the .package you're having problems with? This way someone can take a look at the problem. There's something wrong with the texutures but we can't actually say what is if you don't share the file.

Hi, the problem is that your texture (diffuse) doesn't have a transparent background. As all the Sim body is mapped in a single image composition you need to make everything but the tshirt blank. So there's no texture in that place. Your background is full with solid white and that's the reason it shows in the whole body. This is how it should look in your 2d editor(Photoshop in this case) You can save as .png not to mess with alphas if you find it difficult.

Nope, still having that issue even with transparent background. Was trying to make a simple pink shirt but it keeps going transparent :c Mathcope

I'm sorry but I think I misunderstood you. You don't want the t-shirt to be transparent? I thought you were refering as a glitch the fact that the whole body was white. That issue is fixed with the method I told you before.
If you don't want the t-shirt to be transparent you need to make it solid. When I opened your file in Photoshop the t-shirt texture was transparent. That's the reason that studio is giving it a transparency. If you dont want that make it solid color.

The issue is that I get a transparent shirt and s4studio's model is completely white.. (: The texture was transparent ? thats weird i see it as solid...

Yes it showed like this: The background was complet with solid white color. That needs to be removed to fix the white look in the model. But then, as you can see the tshirt has transparency. It is a grey colored tshirt with transparency. You need to make it look solid. You will know that is solid when no grid show behind it.

I was just having this very same problem. When I saved the DDS, I saved it as a DXT5_NM XY 8bpp using DXT5, but I should have saved it as a DXT5 ARGB 8bpp interpolated alpha. For me, that stopped the transparency problem.

That is definetly a way to fix it. The problem is with the alpha. That is the reason I recommend using .png files. That way you don't need to worry about chosing a DDS option to save at all. And you don't need to worry about mipmaps being checked too. But glad that you got it fixed.
