So I have this new cookie recipe that I was able to add to the game with a custom stove that accepts it, but I'm having two issues that I honestly can not figure out.
1)The preview of the item in the "cook" menu is red/blue as if the texture were missing, but it has the correct mesh. (This was also the case for the actual cookie on the table, but I fixed that by changing the texture size to the correct dimensions) It also has the same red/blue texture in my sim's "to do" list (The icons on the left that show what they are currently doing an what they will do next) However the item looks perfectly fine in the plate on the table with correct textures an everything. I'm not sure why the texture is only missing for the item preview... I wouldn't really be concerned about this since I plan on upgrading the recipe soon to bake an entire batch of cookies rather than one at a time (I'm still working on the large plate mesh), BUT the icon of the cookie in my sims "to do" list is also red/blue which bothers me...
2)When my sim sits down to eat the new cookie she grabs from the plate an she holds a half eaten chocolate chip cookie instead. This one is a tuning issue. I have cloned the half-eaten cookie and I have made my own mesh to replace it, but no matter how many times I try, I can't figure out how to link it to my recipe so that my sim pulls out a half-eaten version of my cookie instead... After many attempts at this, an many restarts to my half-eaten cookie package, my sim pulled out a fork instead of a cookie during 2 of the tests... I'm not sure why this is the case, but i just assumed that the game defaulted the "utensil" to a fork when it didn't understand what I wanted...
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated I'm running out of ideas on what to try to fix these issues lol
