Hi parsimoniouskate, welcome to Studio forums. Floor categories can be changed in the Warehouse: The plan is to add a Tags tab on the Studio side for all the Buy Mode items in the future to eliminate the need to do this editing in the Warehouse.

Thank you Orangemittens! I see this needs to be done for each recolour in the package so probably best done at the start, but better late than never :D
Edit: I see the colour is also tucked in there which was going to be my next question!

You're welcome. Yes, it needs to be done for every swatch in the .package. We hope to get this automated on the Studio tab in this series of Studio so this won't be such a PIA.

Hi vitrina, welcome to the forums. If you post the floor.package that is not showing up the issue can be investigated.

HELP! I'm using S4S v3.1.2.4 (Wishes). I've followed this tutorial and created a standalone floor (I even changed the string tables to fix the in game text after the update on 04/16). The thumbnail and description show up great, but when I try to place the floor in the game, I get a 4 square red/purple question mark floor. IDK what I've done wrong. Can anyone help me?

Just downloaded and installed the Sims 4 studio. Brand new here.
I was trying to use this tutorial, I want to make a floor. Under BUILD, the choices are Standalone Recolor, Add Swatches and Override. There isn't an option for floors or walls. What did I do wrong?
Thank you for any help you can give.
I could only find the Sims 4 Studio 3.1.3.9(wishes)
Did I download and install the wrong one ?

kaeliana This is an old tutorial, so the screenshots you are seeing are old. If you want to make a new floor, choose Standalone Recolor and click the Build button, then select Floor from the Type dropdown menu. It says Wall by default.

I'm assuming fire/water resistance is a gameplay effect added after this tutorial was created. I know I have to add the tooltip tag for it to show up in game, but does adding the "Fire_Flammable_AutoAdded" tag in the normal "Tags" section add the gameplay effect? And then the same for the corresponding water resistance tags?
I'm using old flooring CCs that don't have this enabled on the wood flooring and would like to add it in so it's balanced with the stock game content.

Thank you for the tutorial! I'm very new to Sims cc so I'm probably missing something obvious, but when I create a recolour the swatch appears cropped in the game. In S4S it's fine but in the game I just get one quarter of the tile. Any ideas? I've looked all over but can't find any explanation. Thank you!!!

Hi,I wonder if there is any way to make a partially transparent floor? I wanted the transparent part to show the game's default terrain color outdoors, but indoors to see the room on the first floor from the floor on the second floor.(I don't know if it's clear, my English is not very good)
