I made a 3D McDonald's sign in Simlish language and I have a bit of a problem with Limited Dissolve. I save the file in Limited Dissolve and import the blender file in Sims4Studio, but when I test it in the game. I can still the polygons and vertices hasn't been dissolved. :/ Is there a way to fix this kind of problem? Best regards, Jonathan Romer

hi ansett! Could you share a picture of the issue in game? i don't understand what you mean by "save in limited dissolve". You apply the limited dissolve only by clicking on the option (also increasing the number on the side bar), and then save. Since the object (i'm assuming) is high poly, the default 5 on the limited isn't going to make much difference, try making it higher.

The thing is that Studio will triangule your mesh once you import it. That is because the games requires triangulated meshes to work. I have no idea if appling the edge split modifier will solve the problem, you can try. Also, that is a very high poly... you can get the same-ish result with lower polygons I think.

The polys is pretty high, but lucky it didn't take forever to import into Sims4Studio. Edge Split Modifier, I'll see if that will fix the problem.
