hi i´ve converted this rug from into the future for sims 4 use. but when placed inside a room it turns black, but when placed outside the textures show up fine. the object i cloned the base from is an regular round rug. help?  |

Have you checked the bump map? If not check it out. Otherwise post the .package for someone to take a look.

i had that happening with an old cc rug. just that one, not any other. i recloned the object from scratch and imported the mesh again. are you using the latest version of s4s?
ps: on a side note.. i would love to know where on the warehouse is this type of configuration.. to make something behave like its outdoors.. the toppings (i dont really remembet how they are called) have this awful shading indoor with blue tints and the colors are nowhere near what they should be. cant believe they arent fixing that. i would if i knew how to.

inabadromance with "blue tint" you don't mean that horrible lighting bug for curtains which came along one of the June patches, do you? That one has actually been fixed in one of the recent patches - though I had to delete and replace all my curtains for them to update back to normal again.

acctually it might just be that the rug mesh is too close to the floor, looking closer it looks like its z-fighting with the floor. i´ll investigate.

I'm going to make a new thread later or tomorrow so I don't keep hijacking this post. glass you could sort out the issue with the rug ! |
