At my wits end (update texture works as a recolour but still no bump map can be added) Downloaded a NEW SIMS 4 I made a package of GO02 Spa Boot cut pants recolours. I had 2 lace and 1 ruffle recolours which I wanted to split from the package. So deleted them out. Original works in game without these swatches. No shadow. I have spent the day trying to workout why I keep getting a shadow above the waist of the lace recolour. I have tried the original package. Deleting the unwanted swatches and adding a new bump map. When that did not work. I made at least three packages with the meshes of the bootcut pants from Spa pack. Yes i do own the pack. So it shows up Sims 4 game. Tested it to see if the shadow at the waist disappears in game world. NO Have made so many different bump maps. Different tutorials. But nothing works. The only two things that have been added is a png of the recolour which worked properly in the original package and a new one I made and tried from the original PSD working file. (at different times) And the new bump maps which I seem to be making a mistake with. Sims 4 updated yesterday for me I flatten the image to get a background then follow the different tutorials. Do not save as pngs. Use DDS files
i have another new package with a similar problem. The bump map is showing above the pants. Used the embossed method for that one.
