Another question from the peanut gallery!
I have an object of which I do not want to change the footprint, however, I do want to change the design tool height because I removed geometry along the z axis. I tried browsing through the OBJD, MODL and MLOD files with S4PE but I can not localize where the code for the design tool height is hidden. If I could find it, perhaps I could manually set it to another value without touching the footprint.
Is this possible? And if so, could someone please point me to the location of the code (file, generic syntax)?
Thanks a lot in advance!

I would not recommend using s4pe for objects. It has unresolved bugs that have been there from the beginning, and it has not been updated for patches. Studio's Warehouse is a full (and constantly updated) resource editor that is capable of editing design tool heights and just about any other object resource editing you would want to do. If you import the mesh on the Studio tab, Studio will update the design tool height for you. If you don't want the footprint changed then don't click the footprint button. If you want to set the height to something other than one that is set for your object in the same way that EA's object design tool heights are set look HERE for instructions that I posted for someone else. That footprint was linked. If yours isn't, you want the Max Height field instead.

Thank you very much for the reply Orange!!
That was exactly what I was looking for! I tried searching for similar posts but that one did not pop up in my search, so thank you for taking the time to link it.
Also, I really appreciate the warning about S4PE. I was not aware the program had these issues, and until recently I used it quite a bit to compile files or quickly look at some code. Now Studio can also edit .simdata files next to the .xml files I guess I should really drop S4PE except as a pure non-object file compiler and just use the Studio instead.
Thank you again for the help and the heads up!!
