I truly hope I am posting this in the right area. I created walls in Wallez and ran into this problem...so I thought I would also try them in S4S and see if the problem would be fixed, but no luck! As you can see, there are white vertical lines in between the wall panels with wood trim... without any panels with trim, there are no lines (so it is not a seamless issue)... I thought maybe it was just the texture, so I tried different one with the same result... I have made may wall sets and have never had this issue! What am I doing wrong? Thank you for looking and for any help you may give ♥ ***Also...may I have some feedback on these walls? I am going for a S4-maxis match

Are you using an EA wall that has corners as your clone?

Yes, I did try it with one. Is there a tut I have missed for making a wall with auto corners?

I'm in the process of writing one. This wall is the tutorial wall: and, aside of the fact that it isn't the most beautiful wall in the world because I made it just for the tutorial, it shows no seams. How are you going about creating the shingled walls? The texture you're using is super cute btw

Thank you...and I love that brick you previewed!!!! I am so excited about the tut! I will go crazy using it (once I learn how, hehe)! Originally, I made them in Wallez. Then I tried to apply them in S4S using a wall that has an auto corner...that did not work out at all! Then I applied my texture on a plain wall in S4S...and the result is what I showed here. I am wondering if it may be the result of adding a shadow to the edge pieces (to give it depth)? About my shingles...I googled textures that are hand painted cause I am attempting a S4-Maxis Match theme. I have other walls, floors and terrain paints for this project I am very excited to share them...very soon! Thank you so much for all you do! I appreciate you ♥

I added a shadow to the edge piece shown in the wall above so I don't think that is the issue. What size are the images you're importing to Studio?

I made them the same as shown in the tut...
Tall - 256 x 1280 Medium - 256 x 1024 Short - 256 x 768
then re-sizing them to
Tall - 256 x 1024 Medium - 256 x 512 Short - 256 x 512

I just re-read what you said above and I understand why you are getting the seam. I missed that you were using a standard wall for the project. EA's standard walls are mapped a small amount over to one side so the white line you're seeing is because of that. The auto corner walls don't seem to have this same issue and the brick wall I showed above is made on a clone of the Industry Matters Corner wall. You could fix the issue you have by sliding the whole image over to the right and adding a thin line of red to the left side.
However this will cause problems at corners where that line on the left will show up. You're best off using the corner wall for a project like this. Andrew is just putting some finishing touches on an improved interface for corner walls. This should be out tonight or tomorrow and it will be accompanied shortly after by my tutorial going over corner walls.

I used the Basic Standard (white/gray). Also...I have been noticing in the thumbnails and also in game, that all the walls with corners, you can see the line. I was looking at several walls in the game a bit ago and some do have a faint line...not as dramatic as mine though. EDIT: just now seen your updated post I will fiddle around with it a bit more and see if I can get it to work. Thank you for all your help! I know we will get this figured out ♥ EDIT #2: Had a thought ...The same thing with the line happens when I made the walls in Wallez and there is no wall to clone for that program...
