Hello everyone! I create objects for The Sims 4 for a while now but I still have a lot to learn and here is the best place for that! I would like to create objects very shinny like this lamp for example but I don't know how.... Is it with the shader? And if yes which one? Thank you for your help in advance

hi! i would suggest looking in game for an item that has a shine similar to what you want to achieve. It's easier that way than to try and accomplish it by guessing and going in game several times until you have what you want. Take note of the name, then 3d mesh clone it. Go to the warehouse and look for the specular DST image that controls the shine. You'll see the textures for the swatches, the bump map (all gray-ish) and the specular (probably pink-ish or blue-ish depending on the item). Export the specular and take a look at the colors and the alpha map. That's how light is reflected. also, here's a full tutorial on how to do your own speculars.
