I've just finished creating a chair mesh with a cloth on top of it but....
For some reason it has a grey line on the edges....
I didn't use the sculpt tools but I did use the clothing simulator in blender.
Whad shall I do to fix this??
~Thanks~

hi! without a picture is a tad difficult to know what the issue is. but I'm assuming it's the normals.
in edit mode, hold alt and click on one of the vertice borders of the blanket. all the border should be selected automatically. go to mesh, edges, split edge.
if the border doesn't get selected then you did the back of the blanket or used solidify. you'll have to select all the edges manually with edge tool. you'll have to hold ctrl and do little circles or lines over each of them to select them.
it'd be easier to explain with a photo of the issue, package and blend file.

Sorry inabadromance for not uploading any pics- i have no idea how to upload a picture straight from my pc so if you could tell me how I'll be glad! However I'm still a beginer and i didn't understand clearly what I'm supposed to do. Could you explain it again please if you don't mind??? ~Thanks~ EDIT:--I've now realised that-yes- I did use solidify

You need to upload the picture online. I recommend using imgur.com. Then share the link that the page gives you. For the files you'll need to upload the files online too. either with dropbox or mediafire. both pages require you to make an account.

As inabadromance points out, Imgur is a good online storage space for pictures. Once you have the link there is a mini-tutorial HERE that shows how to use the link so that your picture will show up in the forum. If you have no online space and need space for storing files, Dropbox is a good choice. One Drive is also a good choice and there is a tutorial HERE showing how to get and use a One Drive account to share both files and images. The sources inabadromance and I have discussed are all free
