Hello again A few days ago I submitted a post about plants on planes. Well, after making my mesh, I spent 2 days trying to finding a game object to base it on that had the right types of textures and alpha stuff to work with, since I had tried this tutorial and ended up like this: . I finallly used the Carina Dining Hutch. I don't know if that has anything to do with why my mesh looks like this in s4s: And like this in game: Have I angered the studio gods? Please, I want to be friends again! You can get my blender file and package file here (link disabled), if it helps.

I had a go at downloading your mesh but it takes me to the dropbox sign in page. It looks as if the leaf that should be in the bottle on the left is in the wrong position on the texture map, although I can't be sure without seeing the uv map. Sounds daft but have you tried looking at where that leaf is on the texture & UV maps for all the meshes including the shadow lods in Blender?

Oh my goodness, freeasabird - I'm sorry - I think I've forgotten how to use dropbox :D Try this link here instead. I thought that my problem actually looked as though it had something to do with the cut numbers of the mesh, but I will definitely take a look at what you suggested.

Now I'm spamming my own thread! :P It's fixed! I went back to the original mesh and copied it into the hutch mesh again.I think I had redone it so many times that I had mixed up some of the failed tried in with the new try, if you know what I mean. Anyway, it worked. Now I just have to figure out how to change the hutch into a wall sculpture (hope there's a tut for that ) No really, is there a way to do that? ...

i still can't download the file. you can't use the link that appears at the top of the page for your dropbox account. You have hover the folder (or the files) and go to share. Create link for sharing, and copy the link that the page gives you.

Fortunately, there is: In the Object Definition, you need to give your rack the tuning of the object you would like it to imitate - in your case that of a wall sculpture you like. Then, in the Object Catalog you will probably have to make some adjustments in the category PlacementFlagsLow. "ShowObjectifWalldown" might be especially interesting here, as it determines if the object will vanish if you lower the walls. Again it's probably best if you take a look at one of the wall sculptures to see which boxes are checked.
It is least tedious to make theses changes before you add other colour swatches, as they will be copied automatically to any new swatches this way. Whereas you will have to add them to each swatch manually otherwise.

hi! i took a look at the blend and the issue here is that ... first:
-You should delete the extra rig that gets imported. Only one rig should be on each blend. right click the extra rig and click "delete". -Secondly, remember to change the names of the groups to what they should be called. Rack to s4studio_mesh_1, Glass to s4studio_mesh_2 and the shadow to s4studio_mesh_0. It might not make any difference, but it's easier for me personally to know that all is organized. (it's optional though, i believe those things get renamed automatically when imported). - Both Rack & Glass have the wrong UV name. The glass has the default UVMap. You have to double click and rename to uv_0; The rack has 3 uvmaps. delete the last 2 by selecting each one an clicking the - icon to delete them. Rename the UVMap the same way as above. Wrong UV names usually mess up how everything is shown.
