so yeah, i do the simglass option on all geometry data, but i always keep having the transparent sides in that hair, idk how to fix it. anyone knows how to? thanks in advance! Yet another pic after i tried fixing it xD

I don't understand this tutorial, it only says to put the bottom layer on top to make it visible over the bottom layer. but how? that's what i need to know ;p

Brajan Summers seems the only person who knows how to fix this issue is the author of this tutorial... As I understand that you get transparency issues if your mesh wasn't grouped in order the planes positioned. You need to detach each plane starting from the top of the mesh (from the highest point of the mesh) and work your way to the bottom so basically you will detach all planes in order they suppose to be rendered, top plane will be rendered on the top. Let's say if it was created and attached the last, game renders it like bottom layer of the hair creating transparency issues. After detaching everything in order you need to attach everything again, when you choose the first plane that you started with and selecting all others they will be regrouped. But I didn't understand the part about what to do if your plane consists of 2 planes either. Have no idea how to do it in easy way in Blender.
