I want to replace the default ceiling texture in Sims 4. How can I do that? There's one simple answer to your question, you can't unfortunately. The Sims 4 doesn't have recolor-able ceilings like The Sims 3 had. The only way to somewhat solve that problem would be to make a mesh to place underneath the ceiling, but that's a lot more work and not the ideal solution.

You can replace the default ceiling texture. I've released several versions, and I know there's at least one other person who's done the same. pictureamoebae.tumblr.com/post/640961284328800256/put-a-lid-on-it-ceiling-replacer-by-amoebae-bored <-- download mine here and use one of my packages for your replacer. You'll need to create the texture, make sure you give it the same name as the texture already in the package, and then replace my texture with yours. You can name the package whatever you like, just remember to keep the texture name the same. If you're making lots of them, keep each in its own folder with a distinct name so you don't get confused by the textures all having the same name.
