so i imported some boots from a skyrim mod into blender, made a few tweaks and gave it a basic texture, and everything went well until i loaded up the game to test it, when this happened: whats going on? what did i miss?

Did you apply vertex paint? nope, i didnt. but now that im trying, it doesnt actually paint it.

What do you mean? Append an EA mesh, use the dropper to copy the paint (make sure for method of display you use solid), and use paint > Set Vertex Paint to copy the paint to your item
