Hi silverbluesims ! It would be nice to see the .package. Without seeing it sometimes it's difficult to tell what is wrong. In your case I think it can be specular (resource that makes your earrings shiny in some parts). Check this tutorial about editing specular, and this one, I think almost all earrings have this resource. Baking textures is not related to your issue but useful thing for future purposes. It helps creating shadows on the map, basically blender decides where to make the shadow, you get a texture that can be overlayed over the main texture and create even more 3D effect than it was before when texture was just "flat". As an example, I baked the texture in 3DS Max (it can be done in blender as well) and got this: I edited this texture, darkened edges in some places and got the base for these earrings. White texture is just simply baked texture but edited. I can't say I did an outstanding job here but I'm learning.
