i'm working on a prosthetic leg, and ideally i would like it to be an accessory, so it can be used with most, if not all, clothing and shoes. so far the only way i've found to get it working is pairing it with a clothing mesh that's had one leg edited. it works with some shoes, ones that are a bit taller, but not sneakers or flats etc. is there a way to get it working the way i want, or is this just not something that's possible? accessory paired with edited mesh and shoe that happens to be high enough: as an accessory alone: any help is greatly appreciated!

hi! I'm just popping in to say that this is a fantastic idea, looks super realistic! unfortunately.. accessories don't have parts of the bodies on their file, it's a separate object from the body, that's why you can't control what shows up or don't.
even if it was a default replacement, the shoes on that side would collide with it.
the only thing I can think of is doing it as a shoe (boot maybe) and maybe having a variation of shoes to pair it with? I'm sorry,I know is a not so useful suggestion, but I can't think on another approach.

Oh hey, i was doing a similar project before The solution I ended up going with was making alternate bottoms of EA shorts/underwear/anything you could see the leg with, but obviously not a great solution for CC freedom
Maybe one day someone will figure out a way for accessories to cut away other meshes
