Okay so I model stuff in blender a lot, mainly shoes though, my question is, is it possible to somehow put my models into sims 4? I've searched google for hours, and there is a lack of tutorials or explanations for anything related to my question, I am completely new to creating cc for the sims so yeah, I'm a noob. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

hi! welcome to the forums! Doing any cas item usually requires the same steps depending on the complexity of the item.3 here's a beginner tutorial for an earring tutorial. The main steps for your item in particular should be: - edit the UV so that the item's texture space match basegame shoes. - match vertex paint colors with the original. - weight transfer (linked in tut above) - match cut numbers. - and create UV_1 so that the shoes are slider' compatible & morph-able. ( video at the bottom of the first post)

Thanks for your reply, although I know most of what you stated, I'm still puzzled to if I can put my blender models into sims 4, or if they're useless when it comes to making cc for sims 4, sorry if I'm sounding dumb. Also if blender models are useless, how would I go about actually making shoes? I can't find a step by step tutorial on it anywhere :/
Much appreciated!

You can make your sims wear shoes which you made yourself in blender - I am not sure if this answers your question. You should probably show a little restraint in the poly-count though - depending what you usually model.

Yes? That's awesome, I usually always keep my poly-count low anyway, now I just have to figure out how to get them in game, cheers for the confirmation

Yeap! any model or object can be added to the game. It is not advisable to share really high poly ones like the ones that are on those modeling sites.. because those where not made for games, but just for "modeling" purposes.

Okay so i have another question, its related to this so i figured i'd better not make a new thread.
Okay, so Ive made a new mesh in blender. It is not a modified EA mesh, it is a new one from scratch. They're shoes(if it makes a difference) and im just stuck at what to do next :/ All i wanna know is what steps i have to take and in what order to do them in. Sorry if im sounding dumb 😫
Thanks
