For example i want to make a top. but with some minor mesh changes., it is possible to do so? so i won't have to create two versions of the same top just of a small mesh change?

Yep- just go into the CAS Part asset in the warehouse, and scroll down to 'Prototype ID.' Items with the same value here will appear under the same thumbnail. Also note the secondarydisplayindex may conflict with each other as well, so you may want/need to renumber those.

The mesh you are working on copy the Prototype ID Make the next mesh as if you were making a new package, go to the Prototype ID of that one and paste in the Prototype ID of the first one and save it
You will have two packages but they will be under the same thumb in the game, which you can over come by merging them.
