It has to be 256x256 px, this way it will always fit on any wall size as the width of a wall always is 256 and the height can be divided into 256. So let's say you picked a pattern with the size of 200x200px, then you first need to change that size into 256x256px
Also you can test if it's seamless by using the offset filter. Go to filter > other > offset and for both type in 128 and for undefined areas choose wrap around.

I did all that. Before I start a project, I'm always either watching a video or reading a tute. I was watching your vid while doing it. I don't understand it. I will try again though, as I never give up :(

I will try again though, as I never give up :( Sometimes it could be you missed something watching a video or you accidently made a mistake, I hope that is the thing that happened in your case, so it will work out all fine. If it doesn't, can you send me a link to the pattern you used? So I can take a look at it?
