Hi! First up, those look AWESOME! But do not worry- they will be fixed in no time, have no fear.
Have you UV mapped your mesh? This could be what is causing the texture of your mesh to come out like the Sim's skin. Once you have UV mapped it, then your textures should come out okay. If you need any more assistance, please do not hesitate to ask I will almost always reply within at least 24 hours.~ GeometricSims (Kate)

Dear GeometricSims, thank you for your kind answer . I don't know what does "UV mapped" mean, but I haven't created the meshes, they're are from another creators, so I think they did. I just used those meshes as a base for my costumes. And I have the same problem with my skins that don't appear correctly in my game : on the last pic (with the bug), you can see the default maxis skin, but not mine... Could you explain this ? Thank you for your precious help.

May I request some more information on your situation? . So if I understood right, you recoloured the meshes (as in created a new texture for them) but did not make the mesh (the general shape of the outfit) yourself? . But you made the skins yourself? Whether you created the mesh yourself (in that case, you would know what Blender is) or if you used someone else's mesh (in this case, you will need to export it from S4S and open it in Blender to create a UV map), I would suggest UV mapping. Even if the mesh is from someone else, this does not mean that they did the UV mapping. Also, may I request a few files for you to upload so I can take a look at them myself and give you the best answer I possibly can? Here are a couple of files that I will need: . Your .package of your creation (the file that you put in your mods folder to get your CC in game) . If you used Blender at all, could I have the Blender file? If not, I will be fine to just have the .package file and take a look at that However, for the time being, I will explain UV maps to you and will list some tutorials on how to UV Map, etc. UV Map- What Is It?What does the term "UV Map" mean/stand for? - the reason why a UV map is called "UV Map" is because "when you UV map, you are remapping the XYZ co-ordinates of your object into a new 3D space. The co-ordinates of this space are renamed UVW to distinguish from XYZ, and since our texturing is usally in 2 dimensions, we use the UV co=ordinate axes and ignore the w"
(description- courtesy of CD38 on blenderartists . org
) When do you UV map during your 3D creation- If you are creating a mesh yourself, I would suggest that after you have done the 3D modelling, before you save your mesh and import it into S4S, make sure you UV map your mesh. However, depending on the particular item you are making, you might want to UV map at different times (but don't worry about when you UV map as you are a beginner: I would just suggest to UV map at the end of your creation. If you are using a mesh that someone has made, open up that mesh in Blender (if you have opened it in S4S, just export the mesh and then open it in Blender). Select the entire mesh by pressing 'A' and then navigate to 'Edit Mode' via the tab at the bottom of the page. If there is a UV map, it should show up at the left hand side of the screen. Anyway, here are some tutorials to keep you going: Look at this tutorial from about Step 10. This should introduce you into the idea of UV mapping: sims4studio.com/thread/164/start-finish-accessory-mesh-beginnersI would also suggest watching a tonne of UV mapping tutorials on YouTube as that helps a lot.

Hi GeommetricSims, Thank you so much for your kindness and to take the time to answer. I didn't know I had to use blender if I hadn't created the mesh. With the files I have modified with S4S, nothing is working good in game : The skins don't appear, the horns (for Maleficent), the dresses, the hair (for Thranduil). The skins are originally by Oimiakon, I just made the celebrities faces. Here you can download Thranduil with all the CC requested : www.simfileshare.net/download/110837/It's supposed to work in your CAS but not in your game. Let me know when you have installed my sim. Please, let me know, Thanks a lot for your kind help, AugusteS I haven't used Blender because I don't know how but it seems I have to take a look at this.

Hi augustes, this is happening because you did not generate mip maps when saving your images. Save your images as a .png instead of using .dds. Alternatively, save the images as .dds DXT5 (Interpolated Alpha) with a check in the Generate Mip Maps box.
Also, when making recolors, you do not have to use Blender. Making a straightforward recolor only requires Studio and a 2D editor (Paint.NET, GIMP, Photoshop, etc.)
