I'm making this set for my friend's birthday and I made a fireplace  Anyway, I got it all made and I moved the fireplace/smoke slot to the correct position but now my test sim can't extinguish or light the fireplace though he can warm himself. Can someone take a look or offer some advice? I appreciate your help! |

Hi, saudadesims!
Did you move these slots by using Blender? Or by using S4S? I just took the fireplace that you cloned to create your own and moved fireplace/smoke bones on some height (but i used TSRW for this, i use S4S only for creating mods) and everything works fine. So i think that the reason is not in a fact that you moved these slots/bones. There is something else.

The only reason I thought it might be that I moved the fire/smoke slot/bone was that my sim was able to light the fireplace before I moved the bone/slot. I wonder what else could be the problem. I don't think that it can be connected somehow with sim actions. I'll try to do the same with S4S.
Btw, if you think that it could be a reason you can just to do everything that you did again and check this in the game again. If the problem will be saved, it means there is other reason.

Did you remove deco slots from it ? Ive had issues before with some things including fireplaces when removing all the deco slots.

Yeah, the two fireplaces I have made into a drum and a pot belly, I had to leave a slot in inconspicuous location, dunno why.

Maybe the animation is connected somehow with slots. I don't know. It needs to look at tuning files for this fireplace.
