Is there a way to convert an object from TS3 and keep the actual animation/interaction? For example would someone be able to convert the Gumball machine (TS3 Store) and make it functional and not just decorative? In general what I mean is to convert an item that in TS4 does not exist yet then add the animations and make it functional?
~Thanks~

I'm not familiar with the gumball machine's functions, but TS3 and TS4 sims are rigged pretty differently, so pose/animation conversions are pretty difficult to do- the animations would likely just have to be redone more or less from scratch. Plus I don't think people have been able to make custom animations for outside of pose player- just default replacements of in-game animations. For now in making custom objects with interactions, the easiest thing to do is use existing in-game animations (but I'm not sure any would fit a gumball machine)

Still the same. The difference in rigs make it so that you have to remake the animations wholly. Also, creating an object and assigning animations to it is possible. Necrodog made some video tutorials about it here (first part)

Necrodog made some video tutorials about it here (first part) I Followed somebody tutorial and they do seem to work and that floating issue he seems to have figured out but has yet released any updates too it plus i have no idea how he even got his into game. I really do hope people can check it out and really put more work into this cause this could be a total game changer

Well, this is good news then :D This is quite a "long" process though but at least that is something.

Yeah, but I would need to do that to the female one then, and kids etc. Might take a while.
