I've double checked everything and my mesh still has this weird shine to it. I'm using the game texture, specular, and bump map and have also tried using an empty one of each but it still has a shine to it no matter what I use and which object I clone. I think it may be something happening in blender...but I'm not sure. There's a pic HERE of what I mean and the file HERE. If you have the kids stuff pack you can see that mine has an obvious difference in shine than the one in game.

hi BrazenLotus! by shine you mean those little bleeds on the side? Can you please share the .blend? I'm not sure if it's just the normals or that the UV is really close to the borders, causing it to bleed to the green texture part of the image. For the normals you can check this post.

Hello! inabadromance I will try that. I can't find the file anymore lol but I'm going to try to remake it and I'll post it when I do.

Okay inabadromance, HERE are the files. 0 is the ea mesh with nothing done to it except for removing the trash group...and the other is the end product basket.

hi BrazenLotus. i opened your mesh and i don't see anything "weird" with the UV. But i do notice seams on the mesh, caused during export. Everything you export from the game has seams issues that have to be fixed manually. I suggest fixing the seams first and check how it looks. If you still have issues, try moving the uv parts on the brown texture space further from the green.

Ok...so that fixed the seam issue but not the shine issue. Maybe it's just my video card or something. Someone sent me a message and when they put the same object in their game didn't have the shine at all.

Yes, it can possibly be that. I have those issues too. i believe it's because "better" cards are not prepared to handle the game. Anyway, have you tried moving the UV? That usually helps.
