Hi everyone! I wanted to make a dresser with a glasstop so I used a table to build and import the mesh and it looks good in studio BUT as soon as I place it somewhere ingame it vanishes. Any tipps? Did I do something wrong? Here is a link to the package and blenderfile linkThank you for reading!!

Here you go! Something seems to have gone wrong when you imported the Medium and Low LOD meshes. I haven't got any idea what specifically happened, but I tried just reimporting the mesh and it works fine now.

Ok so maybe I was too fast with being happy... I tried it again but still. There is no object in my game. As soon as I place it, it is gone no matter how close or far I am, I can't even click it because there is litterally nothing there anymore :(

I'm really sorry that didn't work for you, I'm not sure why. It stopped disappearing for me after I replaced the meshes (the version I uploaded works fine in my game - have you tried putting that in your Mods folder by itself?). I hope someone else can help you! It's a really lovely looking object.

After that I tried replacing the meshes with the same result. Thank you so much

Actually I think I know why. You have used a dining table and removed all the seating slots/rig I assume. If you use a coffee table it should work, you may have to keep the two object surface slots. For some reason removing all the slots from some objects mucks them up too.

MisterS is right, normally when you remove existing slots, the object breaks in that it disappears as soon as you release the mouse and "place" it in-game.

Ok, so my solution was simple. I took a basegame dresser with glass top and adjusted my mesh and now, of course, it works perfectly! Thank you for your tipps and helping my process!

I was wondering this too for a while. May i ask what the ObjectSurface_ slot is for on tv units? Where should it be placed? On the surface?
