For my second mod I created carpets that go on the stairs. But because I used a normal decoration item as a base (clutter, some pebbles laying on the ground) it messed up the path finding. Sims couldn't go up the stairs anymore XD So I redid my mod using decorative rugs as a base item. This time, the stair carpets disappear behind the stairs! >< Even when they're not suppose to. postimg.org/image/uc2zvmgx5/Is there a way to fix this? (Without having to change the base item again? I have to change 12 packages with each 7 textures every time I have to do this?) Please help, people are getting angry with me on mod the sims :S (they're also withdrawing their "thank you" clicks ; _ ; )

You should be able to use your original idea and import a rug footprint, sims will ignore it then (well they should)
Or use a rug and change the shader to phong
First idea is probably easier

I've fixed the problem using the previous version using the clutter as a base item. ( a lot of people had this problem using a rug as a base item) In the Footprint tab of the Warehouse section > Object Polygons: Edit Items > Uncheck: Pathing.
