Hello all. So I´ve been playing around with this for 3 days now, and finally gotten to a point where im actually okay with the final result. Almost. Its the first thing ive ever made, so im sure there is a lot of things to improve, but right now there is two things on the top of my list. The first thing is the fact that the portrait ingame is wrong, and show a nude texture. But only when using the first swatch. The other three looks fine. I had some problems with the first swatch because i forgot to create mipmaps when i exported it, but i got that fixed, and as the picture shows, it looks fine ingame (except for my terrible graphics) and in cas. I just dont know how to fix it, so ill be happy if anyone have any tips The other thing is that the sleeves are pretty open, but instead of bare skin under the arms, there is just more pattern (its maybe a bit hard to see on the pic). Im guessing it has something to do with the uv map, since the jumpsuit and armpits overlap, but im not sure where to place them to get it to look right. Did i miss a tutorial maybe? Any help is much appreciated. I use blender to make/edit the mesh and gimp as my 2d editor. And then Sims 4 Studio ofc

hi! i'm not sure if this will solve it, but i believe you're saying that you fixed the issue by enabling mipmaps? Studio always gives a small popup when a texture in CAS doesn't have mipmaps and doesn't let you import it. That's why i'm unsure if that's the issue. But i could suggest you deleting the localthumbcache.package located on documents\Electronic Art\The Sims 4 (on the same place your mods folder is) to let the thumbs and portraits re-load. As for the sleeve, from the first pictures it looks painted on the skin & i don't see any wholes. But you can try checking out this tutorial from MisterS where it explains how to close a mesh.

For the sleeves, what i really wanted was open sleeves like on this picture (I tried to move the armpit pieces of the mesh, but it looked really wierd ingame) But i ended up changing the mesh, closing the sleeves instead, and now its fine About the nude portrait, it seemed to fix the problem when i deleted the localthumbcache.package so thank you very much But where does that popup show in studio if you try to upload a dds without mipmaps? Cus I just tested it, and tryed to import a swatch that didnt have mipmaps, and i could do that without problems?! I use jackpot. Thank you for the reply

ooohhh! i see it now. I was thinking about something else and imagining another shape in my mind. When a mesh is "painted" on the skin, then you can shape the sleeves through the texture and its alpha. But i'm glad it's working fine now I'm on the latest build (windows 2.7.1.0). I tried importing a dxt5 with alpha with mipmaps disabled.
