 Hi everyone! I'm back again with a gameplay mod, this time a custom career: Fashion. This is not an active career (i.e. you won't follow your Sim to work), but it's made in the style of the traditional/base game careers. The mod is also base game compatible and shouldn't conflict with any other mods. The Fashion Career starts with your Sim working their way up in a clothing store, but eventually branches off to one of three branches: Model, Designer, or Fashion Journalist. The base track and the branches all have custom interactions tied to them, but the tracks have the most unique gameplay features. Models have the ability to "practice modelling" in the mirror and can also walk the runway in later levels and receive a variety of moodlets depending on their skill levels. Designers can actually paint fashion designs on the easel. I created a new painting type for the easel and added in about 30 new paintings of fashion sketches. Your Sims designs will vary depending on their skill levels. Designers can then sell their sketches to other labels, or when they reach level 10 of the career, they can sell them directly to the "public" for a higher rate. The Fashion Journalist branch works similar to the base game journalist career, except you can interview Sims about their outfits, then write a positive or negative article about their outfit. At level 10, journalists can write their own fashion magazines on the computer and publish them. There's also chance cards, a bunch of custom interactions (for Sims and for objects), buffs/moodlets, custom rewards, traits, etc. If you want more info, you can check out the download page  I hope you guys enjoy it! I will probably make more careers, but they are so time-consuming and take a lot of energy to do. So I can't imagine myself pumping out a bunch of them, haha. Doing a tutorial right now also seems impossible- there's just so many steps (keep in mind that the now-outdated tutorial was very basic- only explained one track, and had no chance cards, etc.), I have no idea how to even explain it  Download here! |

This is wonderful! It's so nice you keep making gameplay mods, gives the game a lot of creativity. So when I got bored of the game I can actually play new options. Thank you for posting!

Hi, I love this mod. Though, I'm translating it to Dutch. I'm doing it for my own game since I play in Dutch and I'm perfectionist about everything being the same language. If I finish translating all of it, shall I send it back to you?

Not sure if you found the solution, but I have this same mod for a while. Not all mirrors offer the Practice Modelling interaction. Most small-medium mirrors work, but some body height mirrors don't have it.
