Folders not opening.

When I try to create a standalone recolor, after the objects show up and I select an object to clone(?), it loads ("cloning object") then nothing... I try clicking "Create empty package", nothing. No error message, there's nothing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, no difference. I can open a package file with studio, but it won't let me export or import...
(I'm very new but I looked around and couldn't find a similar problem.)
It's worked fine for a while, and now randomly doesn't open.
