I'm so tired of putting up with my disappearing Sim, it's time to pick on the mods folder for good. I already got rid of all TS3 packages which I have put in my mods by mistake. Now, picking on the mods again...I tried this just the other day and it reassured me that the game itself is working perfectly fine (without the mods). Today I'm going to remove all mods again, put them in a folder, group them like this:   and put them back one by one again by group. This time I will be very careful to remember the last ones I put back... The tedious part is testing the game and saving everytime after a mod/mods are placed back... I wish there was an easier way...but oh well....time to get to work if i want to play the Sims normally again. see I have 1,300+ moods installed! that is a lot of work! :Blah I CAN DO THIS!  Firs I will create subfolders in my Sims 4mods folder so I can easily track which mods are interfering with my game. TESTED BODYSHOP FOLDER ( 170 ITEMS OF ACCESSORIES, BODY HAIRS, TATOOS, MAKE UPS, SKIN DETAILS..) - ALL GOOD. next...HAIR FOLDER (62 items of Hair (head hair) ) TESTED HAIR FOLDER - ALL GOOD TESTED MY CREATIONS FOLDER (101 ITEMS) - ALL GOOD next... SCRIPTS FOLDER (16 items) ... OKAY... MTS_clown_1459534_EnableDebugCheats I think this script mode isn't working right anymore and it's causing my game to misbehave. ..... not disappearing sim...but after patrolling (as police officer) ...when I returned to the police station, the police station became unselectable. Also the "alter needs" cheat doesn't work anymore. After returning from CAS, I couldn't unpause the game, I had to return to CAS and back to game again before I could play..... ...so I played without MTS_clown_1459534_EnableDebugCheats everything was well again. SO... SCRIPTS FOLDER ( 15 items) - ALL GOOD next... TRAITS FOLDER (12 items) TRAITS FOLDER (12 items) -ALL GOOD next...OBJECTS FOLDER (781 items) no problem with any of my OBJECTS. next...SHOES (25 items) no problem with shoes. next: CLOTHES (118 items)... no problem with CLOTHES. next: POSES (13 items) |

Hi Maya. I have issues with buggy mods sometimes too. I have over 1700 mods right now, but it only takes about 20 minutes to find the ones that break my game. You just have to put half of your files in the Mods folder, and if the game is still working OK, then it's the leftover half, which you divide by half again, and so on. Goes much faster that way. Last time I had issues with my game, it was actually 2 script mods that needed to be updated.
I'm also playing a police officer :P My sim is the laziest police chief in history, making tons of money by staying home nearly all week, using vacation days or calling in fake sick. :D And in the meantime hacking work performance at home, and negotiating bonuses with high charisma. Then going to work just once or twice a week to get a promotion for doing absolutely nothing. Hahaha. I gotta change her job or my city's gonna get overrun by criminals. :P
Also, I can't believe you're still making tons of stuff with S4S, I've mostly been playing the game since the expansion. I gotta edit some counter island meshes to fit with one of my stove edits but I'm just so lazy... :P

If it's from MTS they'll probably update it sooner or later ;P
Until then you can probably just type in the cheats when needed. I don't really use those unless my game gets buggy, like sim gets stuck or something. I do use the move objects cheat, which I don't even consider a cheat. I mean, come on, have you tried landscaping without it? Ugh! Stupid plants :P
