Hi guys, Just wondering if there is any way possible to create a completely seamless 3 tile wallpaper. I'm using the method where you split the images by 256 pixels each so that you can use any starting location for your wallpaper. 2 tile and 4 tile are working great, the math fits after all, but I was wondering if there is anyone who knows how to make a completely seamless 3 tile wallpaper. I have a few textures I like that doesn't quite fit well with a 2 tile or a 4 tile, so I created a 3 tile, but it has a very slight clip at the beginning of the wallpaper. If it's totally just down to maths and you can't really divide 1 evenly into three parts I understand. Just thought to ask if someone's managed to do it is all. Thanks

I think that would be a bit difficult as for the reason you already mentioned "you can't really divide 1 evenly into three parts". you will get 0.3333333333333333333 etc, I think there will always be a part left which doesn't show quite right. What you can try, is making it (if it's an image of something) into a wall sticker perhaps. You can use this tutorial to see how to: How to recolor a wallstickerYou do need to find a wallsticker that's large enough of course.
