hi! The problem you're probably having is that the .blend you have here doesn't match the groups and cut numbers of the original mesh. They must have the same elements for it to import correctly (such as only 1 rig, you should delete the extra ones. Same groups, same cut numbers, same uv_map names). So, i suggest you taking a look at the original EA blend and study how the groups & cut numbers are. You can read more here.
