Sorry to bother you guys, but I'm stumped. I made a necklace and I can import the mesh for LOD 0, but the other LODs won't import. I just end up with the model but no necklace. I've done everything I can think of. I've made sure the group numbers are okay, checked the cut numbers, made sure the weights are assigned correctly, vertex paint...everything I can think of. But the LODs 1, 2, and 3 just won't work. The weird thing is I can't even import the mesh for the EA necklace I cloned. There's just nothing on the model's neck. Yet LOD 0 is fine. Weird. Oh, and I just updated Sims 4 Studio. Could that be the problem?
Thanks in advance.

Did you also check the group numbers on the lower LODs of the necklace you're cloning? Sometimes they can be different from LOD 0. That's the only thing I can think of. :/

I figured it out, actually. Originally, I used the same joint assignment as the necklace I cloned, but, like I explained, only LOD 0 would import. So, this time I assigned the necklace to b_Spine2_ and b_Neck_ and it worked! Lesson learned: if it doesn't show up, try a different joint assignment. That was a weird problem; I've never encountered this issue before. But I'm glad I'm back on track now. :D

that's weird! the thing is that necklaces are special. lod0 has two groups, one the necklace and the other a cube hidden inside the body. the rest of the lods have different cut numbers and only one group. that's why it wasn't importing and updating.

I didn't know that. Thank you! I was converting the necklace for kids and I ran into the exact same problem. Now I know why. Again, thanks!

I have to report something weird that happened in case anyone runs into this. So, with the child necklace, I ran into the same trouble, right? Couldn't import LODs 1, 2, or 3. Well, I didn't see this before because I had the viewer port of Sims 4 Studio zoomed in on the neck area. At some point, I backed up in the viewer port and saw that an extra set of legs on the model was being imported instead! XD Turns out the legs of the model had the same cut number as my necklace. I just switched the part that says GEOM to NONE, and make the cut number field blank (I did this with the bottom part of the model). That fixed the problem. I have no idea what that was all about, I probably put the cut number in the wrong place (lol), just glad I solved the issue. :D
