Will this tutorial work for a cake with no ingredients like fruits or vegetables? Also I can't chocolate pie in s4s.

yes. Just delete the entire <V......<V/ section for ingredients. Do you have the MTS version of chocolate pie in mods folder? If you do, remove it. They have same id. Snippet version of pie is HERE |

I removed my mods folder and it still doesn't show up, is there any different recipe I can use?

I updated s4s and the chocolate pie you made comes up now, but the chocolate pie thats supposed to come with s4s still isn't showing up. Can I follow the tutorial and still get a edible cake with your chocolate pie snippet?

No idea which Sims 4 chocolate pie you are referring to. Yes you can use the pie snippet for a cake.

Hello Leniad , thank you for posting this tutorial. "6. Export these below files from Slice (To extract go to Warehouse Tab, highlight files and Batch Export)" the clone section seems to be confusing me. I have used Sims 4 Studio before, of course, but I can't seem to find the files you are talking about. I'm not sure if I'm looking in the wrong place or just doing the wrong thing completely. I'd be very grateful to get a further explanation into this step. Thank you. |

open the single serving/slice with S4S, then highlight ObjectCatalog.binary ObjectDefinition.binary DST files ModelLOD.binary files Light.binary file Rig.binary CutoutInfoTable.binary Model.binary Footprint.binary Slot.binary  no need for extra image files hope that helps |

Hi Leniad! I am posting this here because I'm having a strange problem with getting my custom food to show on restaurant menus and I was wondering if someone else might have encountered a similar issue or would have any suggestions. When I go to customize the menu for my restaurant, I have no problems adding custom food that I have created. However, once I actually try to order from my restaurant, none of the custom food is available. The NPC sims do not order it either. Below are screenshots for the menu when I customize it and then when I try to order from it. Any ideas?   |

It is probably a tag issue for the time of day (Breakfast,Lunch or Dinner). I added all 3 tags to my food so that it always appears.

Unfortunately adding the tags for all meals doesn't seem to have an effect. I wonder what would make the dish appear on one menu and not the other. I am supposed to change the SimData instance to the hex64 of the recipe name, right?
Edit: I figured it out! The SimData instance needs to be exactly the same as the recipe tuning instance. For some reason that didn't occur to me.
