The rainbow questionmark usually means, that the game cannot find the diffuse/ the texture. Looking at the package, the lowest lod not only is missing a cut (which is odd) but is also linked to completely different diffuse images. Linking it to the right images might solve the problem. You can find out how to do so in this tutorial. While it deals with a different matter, it basically explains what you need to fix the missing diffuse issue too.

The rainbow can also indicate that a texture has an incorrect size. ALL textures should be in powers of 2 (2n) For example: 1024x512 = 210x29

The item the original post was about had more than one problem. Your issue with the rug is almost certainly the result of importing an image that is the wrong size. Please check the size of the image you imported into the package. Appropriate sizes that can be recognized by the game include 28, 64, 256, 512, 1024, and 2048. Keep in mind that very small sizes could cause the image to appear a bit blurry in the game, while very large sizes can slow the game down. If you're sure your images are the correct size, post the package so someone can take a look at it.
