Hi, I tried to download the Sims Studio, and Norton isn't letting me download it because it claims this program to be untrustworthy, so it keeps deleting it every time I tried. Is there a certain reason why it's telling me this? Should I restore it from quarantine, or should I not use Sims 4 Studio at all?

Its a false positive, Norton is one of most over zealous AV you can get. You should be able to disable it while you install it. I assure sims 4 studio is fine 1000's of ppl use it.

Alright, thank you so much!! I trust Norton a lot, but I can totally agree that it's very over-protective (which is not necessarily a bad thing!). However, i'll attempt to restore from quarantine then install Sims 4 Studio and hopefully Norton won't be annoying about it. Much love! :jumpHug

If you take a look at why Norton deems Studio untrustworthy, you'll see that it is because the programm is relatively new (meaning, there has been an update) and relatively few people in the Norton community use it (meaning again, that Studio has been recently updated and not many Norton users yet use the newest Studio version). In other words Norton recommends you to not use the file, because it cannot be certain, that it is safe to use, not because it is really unsafe. Also, in my case, Norton generally tells me when it has found a file that is not quite sure about and prompts me to decide what to do with it. If in your case it simply shuts things off without asking first, it might help to change something in your user preferences - otherwise you will run into the same problem again the next time Studio updates.
