Hey all, I come again with an issue which probably has a very simple solution but I can't figure it out for the sake of me and I've been trying for days. I'm making a few clothing meshes, and they all work like they are supposed to in my game, but when I send them over to my testers they end up reporting weird glitches like these: My first intuition was that it was a weight issue, but I've tried reweighing the meshes four times with four different reference meshes and it seems to make no different. Anyone willing to help me out?

hi! What version of blender are you using for doing the weight transfer?
I believe that the issue here is that some vertices (most of them) have 5 bones attached to it.. which the game only reads 4 making the general weight go wonky. Try going into weight paint mode, and form the side bar click "limit total" and see if that fixes it. Apart from that.. i don't "see" anything else weird.

Woah, I didn't even know it was a thing! I am using 2.70. And I tried the "limit total" and it did not fix the issue :/ Would using 2.78 change things? Edit: Okay hopefully I am not speaking too soon but I think I fixed it. I went in 2.78, removed all weights from the dress first and then retransfered them, and did limit total. It seems to work now. Not sure which of those steps fixed the problem but as long as it works I'm good ahahah Thank you so much for your help

hi! I'm pretty sure changing versions did the trick. Do you have 2.70a or just 2.70? ... anyway, glad it's working on the other version You don't need to do limit total on any part of the steps, just do the usual & and what it says on the tuts.

I had 2.70 I think but I switched over to the latest update of Studio and 2.78a for good (I was holding off because I hate the way the render is lit in the new blender, it makes me a little sick). Thank you again!!
