I am new to Blender and meshing, but was able to bring a mesh into the game and used it to create a pumpkin vine and got a harvestable pumpkin that works nicely. I altered the mesh scaling it to transform it into a squash plant shape. Since you cannot clone a CC object, I copied the pumpkin, imported the changed mesh, altered the instance numbers, altered model instances, renumbered rigs and slots. I tried importing mesh in a cloned EA object but the texturing was all messed up. My question is this, "Is there a way to keep the original texture mapping of a mesh once imported into a clone?" or is there something I am missing in trying to renumber/rename a copy? I got them both to work separately, but when both loaded on same lot one of them goes unresponsive, hover text blank etc. I will keep at it, but trying to copy or clone a CC mesh seems like something others have run into before, so the answer may be out there. Thanks so much brujah!! I knew the issue had to have occurred many times before. Got the "recolor" made and off to tweak it up. Thanks again.
