[Solved} Trying to bake a texture for this mesh

Picking up at step 10 of that tutorial, you need to select only the UV's of your clothing mesh. Also, you need to select a new image that is solid black to bake on as instructed in the next step. I used l select (click the lowercase L key on your keyboard while holding your mouse over the sections of your top to use this) to select just your top in the pic below:
One thing to note is that you currently have your top mapped in a very small space. You might want to consider moving it and enlarging it.
