How to Unlock objects (Debug/World objects)
The objects that appear when Sims do certain stuff can't be bought in buymode all the time. Think about a trashbag, food or puddles. Besides that, there are objects that can be found in the Sims worlds but aren't buyable either. This tutorial will show you how to make those objects buyable too.
If you got any questions about it, please ask them here in this topic or in the comment section on Youtube. I got a lot more tutorials on my youtube channel and there're going to be many more. So if you don't want to miss them, please subscribe!
If you want to have an overview of all The Sims 4 Tutorials I made on my Youtube Channel, please take a look at my BakieGaming Video Index here on the Forum. You will find links to all tutorials here on the forum and links to all tutorials that aren't on this forum in there.

Hello, I know this is very old but I wanted to clarify something; since many Debug objects have an in-game purpose (ie, the heart "organ" shows up when giving birth at the hospital, etc), there are many bones/rigs/what have you pertaining to that. If I want to change the mesh for an object, I should use either selective clone or create 3D mesh instead of override, right? Or would it remain unaffected internally if I change the mesh, even if I override the original object?

If you want it to also display that way when Sims use it, override will work and will not break anything if you're just doing the mesh and textures. If you want the item to be standalone and not affect the original object's appearance, then Selective or 3D mesh would be best.
