Hello, I'm incredibly new to S4S but was delighted to see they had created a Mac version for all us Mac users, so the first thing I tried to do was run the batch fixes for lights & mirrors, however neither of them seem to work for me? Everything runs fine, seems like it should work, the program places them in the backup folder, I delete the old files from my game & replace them with the new, fixed versions from that backup file, but still get script call error on every item fixed. I even tried opening up one piece of lighting CC through "my projects" & manually editing the tuning ID for all swatches to the correct number as per this post, saved it, & tried the object in my game with no luck. I'm utterly stumped. I also tried to manually fix one mirror following the instructions from another creator on Tumblr, & that didn't work either. Here's a screenshot of the one piece of lighting I tried to manually fix, I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated, I feel like I must be missing something or making some kind of silly mistake for this to be failing so epically.

The backup files ARE the old files. You don't need to replace your game files with those, as you are replacing them with the old ones when you do that. Simply run the program and play. The backup files are in case something goes wrong (which it shouldn't), you can revert to using them.
All the best!

hi, i'm extremely new to S4S. Everytime i go to click on the link of the batch fix of lighting/mirrors it tells me there's an error or i'm not permitted on the page. I have S4S downloaded but i can't seem to figure out the problem. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. (:

Hi carly2002, I'm not sure what link you are clicking. Could you post that link here so I can fix it? Also, if you have downloaded Studio and you want to run the batch fixers, you don't need a link to do that. Here is a picture showing how to get to the batch fixes for mirrors and lights. These need to be run separately but you can run them one right after the other. If you have a lot of CC, don't be alarmed if the process takes a bit of time. Studio has to look in every package in your Mods folder to see if it's a light or a mirror before it starts fixing things.

iPhreak hi! have you tried picking the mirrors you're having troubles with, moving them to another folder outside the mods and referencing the batch fix folder to that folder instead? Maybe there's another mod in your mod's folder that is causing the crash (?)

Hi again! Sorry for the late reply having wide-scale issues throughout my entire game so I have been trying now for a few days everything under the sun that has been suggested to me in order to fix said issues but no luck.
This is just another of those issues and what I tried suggested above didn't work sadly D:

Hi iPhreak, when you mention wide-scale issues, this makes me wonder if some item or item you have in your mods folder isn't causing some problem. Have you tried running your game with no mods in at all? Take a look in your Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Logs folder to see if there is a report there with a date/time corresponding to when you tried running the batch fix. Without an error message, it is very difficult to know what could be going wrong although I suspect, as inabadromance said, that there is a piece of content that is causing the issue.
