Not sure if this is the appropriate forum section for this, but here goes... I've been playing around with the newly released TSRW tool this weekend. Can I just say "Ugh"? Is S4S going to eventually incorporate a buy/build object creation component? I sure hope so! I've gotten used to S4S's lovely UI and "error free-ness," and TSRW is just killing me. Truly. And I haven't even gotten delved into the special instructions for creating multiple swatches yet... Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for all the work that went into creating and releasing TSRW. But, S4S rocks my socks (slinks out quietly while trying not to offend anyone)

Studio is working on adding object meshing and it shouldn't be long now. Object meshing will not be any different than the other features already in Studio in terms of UI appearance or ease of use. Getting it right takes a little longer than just getting it out there, especially since we don't have a 9-5 coder on the job like tsr does, but we're close. When we do introduce this feature it will be a beta test and we're hoping that everyone in our shared community will test it out and help perfect it by reporting any bugs they find using it. I'm really glad to hear that you like S4s

Makes me glad I decided to wait for object meshing to be integrated into S4S so I could just learn Blender, S4pe, and object meshing for Sims 4 all of a piece.

S4S is my preferred tool for CC making in TS4. The interface is just so easy to use, and with every update this tool just gets better and better. No more script call failure! HUGE thanks to the makers. You guys really rock. I still need to get to grips with Blender (Wings 3D is my meshing tool of choice), but apart from that, creating CC for TS4 is an absolute breeze because of you.

Agreed, girlfromverona! S4S has taken into account how creation will be done for Sims4. Creators will not just be creating one version that downloaders can CASt to their heart's content. We will necessarily be providing MANY recolors with each mesh. S4S accommodates that and makes it a BREEZE. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the ability to recolor Sims 4's already included swatches instead of having to create a new one for every recolor I want to provide. AND how wonderful it is that the texture import screen and the swatch adjustment menus are IN THE SAME PLACE. You guys really thought this out, and it is sooooo appreciated :D Not to mention I have not had a single "memory exception failure" (I think that's the term, I should have it memorized after how many times I encountered it over the past project) tonight. I am one happy simmer right now! EDIT TO ADD - that is supposed to be a happy dance gif! Imagine it dancing
